More solutions from a single source for demanding drives

WITTENSTEIN plans to acquire Moog Brno.

WITTENSTEIN, a specialist in cybertronic motion, intends to expand its range of solutions for rotary and linear servo motors and servo actuators.

WITTENSTEIN cyber motor GmbH – a wholly owned subsidiary of WITTENSTEIN SE – plans to acquire Moog Brno s.r.o with all associated products as of October 1, 2024. Moog Brno s.r.o. is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Moog Inc. and based in the Czech Republic. The agreement between WITTENSTEIN and Moog was signed last Monday, September 2, 2024. The intended final execution is, however, among other things, still subject to approval under antitrust law.

The Brno site produces rotary and linear servo motors and actuators, which are mainly used in mechanical engineering. They would significantly expand WITTENSTEIN's range of solutions.

Dr. Bertram Hoffmann, Chief Executive Officer of WITTENSTEIN SE, is pleased with the successful conclusion of the negotiations: “We see great potential for synergies. The motors and actuators from Brno would be a strong addition to WITTENSTEIN’s existing range of solutions.”

Moog Inc. is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components and systems. Additional information about the company can be found at www.moog.com.
