1. How should I submit my application?

Please apply online. You will find direct links to online applications in the individual vacancy descriptions. You have the option to provide personal information and upload documents, such as your CV and diplomas. Ideally, you should merge these attachments into one or two PDF files.

2. What documents should be included with my application?

To enable us to process your application in an efficient and timely manner, we require your CV as well as any diplomas and testimonials. A cover letter telling us a little more about you is also very useful. Please provide information on your desired start date and include your contact details. We especially need your phone number and an indication of when you can be reached.

3. What do I need to remember when submitting an unsolicited application?

Please use our online tool and don't send applications by e-mail or post. To help us determine as quickly as possible whether we can offer you a job which matches your expectations, please tell us what you are looking for in your future role and indicate any areas or departments that particularly interest you.

4. What file formats can I use?

Please use .pdf, .doc, .docx or .rar file formats. We cannot process ZIP archives.

5. How do I know if my application was successfully received?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt within two working days. More detailed information on the status of your application will be sent to you as soon as the department concerned has had a chance to examine your documents. Since we make a great effort to review every application thoroughly, this can take up to two weeks.

6. What is the application selection process?

First, the department concerned examines your documents. If your skills match our requirements, we will be interested in having an interview with you over the phone or in person. In many cases, we will also invite you to a taster day, where you will have a chance to get to know your future work environment and provide us with a better idea of your skills and capabilities. We normally contact you by email and therefore ask you to check your inbox regularly. Please also take a look in your spam folder if necessary.

7. What is the orientation process?

As a new employee, you will take part in our orientation program in the first few months. This includes seminars and workshops, which you can decide on with your supervisors. In addition to this, a personalized orientation is also held in your department. Moreover, you will also have a mentor available to support you.

8. What will be expected of me on my first day at work?

For your first day of work, we organize a thorough introduction to our corporate culture. In addition to this, you will receive important information on workplace safety and IT guidelines. Furthermore, you will hear everything worth knowing about our organization and be given a tour of your department.

1. What is the preferred minimum duration for an internship?

To ensure that you gain extensive experience and to enable you to actively collaborate on projects, often working independently, we prefer all internships to last a minimum of three months, which is why we do not offer pre-study internships. Internships with a duration of five to six months have proved to be particularly insightful. We do not necessarily rule out shorter internships, however, and will examine each application carefully.

2. What timeframes are available for internships?

Internships and thesis work can begin any time throughout the year on the first working day of a month. The decisive factors are a convincing application plus deployment and accommodation opportunities in your desired department.

3. Are unannounced internships also possible?

Yes, please feel free to submit an unsolicited application. Please indicate in your cover letter which area is of particular interest to you.

4. What is the best time to apply?

Please apply at least three to four months before your planned start date.

5. What documents should be included with my application?

We require a cover letter, CV and copies of relevant diplomas and certificates. In your cover letter, please indicate your desired timeframe and provide up-to-date contact information. For an internship prescribed by your university or for thesis-related work, please also send us the corresponding guidelines from your university, such as a copy of the examination requirements.
